Draw Like You Used To
Drawing was simply a way to express, to imagine, to play. As life moves forward, that instinct begins to fade. Schedules replace sketchbooks, and creativity becomes something distant.
“Draw Like You Used To” invites you to reconnect with that lost instinct, bringing creativity back into everyday life with Canva.
It speaks to a generation of young professionals whose creative energy is gradually worn down by routine and structure. This campaign encourage them to create again, even in the simplest forms, with the same mindset they once had. Just focused on the joy of the process, not the perfection of the result.

Bus Shelter and Billboard
There was a time when painting didn’t require any reason.
You pick up the brush, and the world will naturally come into view.
A dog can be blue,
A house can float
… …
We are waiting for the right moment.
But we have forgotten how to create.

An ordinary hair salon, in the eyes of a child, is completely different. The scissors become dancing tools, and the hair turns into a riot of colors.
In this imagined world, familiar things are never just their surface appearance. What adults consider as daily life, from a child’s perspective, is full of endless possibilities.
When you pass by this billboard, whether on a busy street or in a crowded mall, you will be invited to pause for a moment and recall that way of looking at things.
Perhaps this world has never been ordinary.
It just awaits to be rediscovered through imagination.
This series of ads explores creativity across different aspects of life, including work, daily living, travel, and commercial spaces. With Canva, creativity becomes something that can exist anytime, anywhere.
